Old TX3 - Trinity River Bridge

The Old TX3-US90 - Trinity River Bridge consists of three Parker Through truss spans. The bridge is located just west of the city Liberty. The approach from the west is a long elevated formed concrete bridge. The river bridge is in moderate condition. The is a significant amount of rust and the has sustained structural damage at the joint between the east and center spans.

This view is looking east at the west access gate. The gate marks the beginning of the formed concrete spans which lead up to the main bridge. Behind me and to my right is US90.

Here we are looking east through the spans. The first interesting thing to notice is the sign indicating the curb height. The next the location which once held the dedication plaque. It was mounted on the right side just above the guardrail.
