Stack construction at IH-45 / Beltway 8 North

Project Build 4 direct connectors to complete the 5-level stack.
Cost $36.4 million
Begin Q1 2000

Two direct connectors were constructed in the late 1960's for the opening of Houston Intercontinental Airport in 1969. Construction completed in 1998 replaced one of those two connectors, and added 2 new connectors for a total of 4 complete connectors. This project will build the 4 remaining direct connectors.
