1963 Freeway Planning Map
This 1963 freeway planning map shows that Corpus Christi did not sustain any freeway cancellations. The freeway (expressway) routes today are exactly as was shown in this map. The only change is that the Crosstown Freeway (286) is planned to be extended south of Padre Island Drive (358).
