This is the first project in the $550 million SH 45 Tollway project. This project will construct a section of feeder roads just west of IH-35.

Final environmental clearance for the full length of SH 45 was received on February 22, 2001. Clearance for the project underway was previously received as part of the Loop 1 extension.
